Feeling good" is the ultimate aim—using the power of lifestyle, and using the power of habit to achieve that lifestyle.
You might want to call it joy, or happiness but whatever you want to call it, it's feelings that for simplicity's sake, we'll just call "good."
Happiness—feeling good, is where we need to focus because it's the reason why we do anything at all—to feel good.
The problem is that most people are focusing all their energy onto their house, money, job, car, partner that they think will make them happy. There's nothing wrong with all these goals but if you want to be truly happy, you definitely need to focus on health first.
When you have amazing clarity and energy, your life will automatically go in wonderful new directions that you can't even imagine right now!
In my experience most people want to live well. They want wellbeing and vitality; the feeling that comes from being in the best of health. Moreover they understand there is a correlation between eating well, exercising and health.
Despite this people still struggle on a day-to-day basis, lacking the health and vitality they want and need to live well. While they may know the value of a good diet and lifestyle, the problem is how to do this.
Translating the desire to eat well and take care of yourself into a daily action plan can seem overwhelming. If you have to get kids to school, work a long day, take care of a family, maintain relationships—how do you find the time, resources and energy to look after your health?
What you need is a roadmap to building good habits. A two week blitz of eating perfectly and exercising is not going to change your health long-term. Instead it's through building habits—daily and weekly practices—that you can change your health.
